This painting reminds me of Burke Virginia where the Appalachian Trail trail crosses just outside an Amish community. It looks like a giant crater from the mountains. Its such a pretty valley and the farm landscape that frames it. I enjoyed my stay eating my fill at the general store in town.
Homade bread, butter and cheese on egg sandwiches that were the size of dinner plates.
