Phil Lesh is the legendary bassist and co-founder of the Grateful Dead, whose innovative approach to rhythm and harmony helped redefine the role of bass in rock music. More than just a musician, Lesh is a sonic architect — weaving counterpoint, improvisation, and cosmic intuition into the fabric of the Dead’s sound.
