Consciousness is the only thing we truly know exists. Everything else — the stars, the earth, even our own bodies — is filtered through it. It’s the stage on which reality plays, and yet it remains the greatest mystery.
We can’t touch it, weigh it, or fully explain it. But it’s there when a child laughs, when a poet writes, when someone forgives. It’s the thread that connects us to each other and to something greater — whether you call that spirit, soul, or simply awareness.
This piece is a depiction of millions of photons traveling at the speed of light all around the universe. These photons travel vast distances, across the desolation of space, to bounce off everything we see to end their journey absorbed by our eyes only to become electrical pulses in our brains that store memories
This piece is 12x13 inches and was created using watercolor, pen and ink on card stock.
