She hikes alone and cares not of the opinions of men when they are surprised she has beaten them to the top of yet another mountain.
Starting with fear of the unknown and putting one shaky step in front of the other, she made her way through a series mistakes and victories.
That was a long time ago and she has many miles behind her now. She has become wild, fearless and has found strength through overcoming her fear and mistakes. She now is one with nature and finds solace and comfort from its complexity and simplicity.
She will persevere and continue to shatter goals and expectations in her life.
